Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on June 26, 1947.

The arms are a combination of a grape vine, symbol of the local viticulture and a sheep-shear. The latter is derived from the arms of the Fragenstein family, who, in the 13th century, lived on the Fragenstein castle in the village.
