Official blazon

In Grün schwarz-gelb geschachter Pfahl zu 12 Plätzen, beseitet von zwei gelben Ähren.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on June 18, 1955.

The arms show a pale with 12 fields. These fields symbolise the 12 large farms that were owned by the Säckingen Abbey in the Middle Ages. The two wheat-ears are a symbol of the farming communities of Ober- and Unterzeihen.
