In Grün auf silbernem Dreiberg ein aufspringendes goldenes Rehkitz.

Origin/meaning

The oldest seal of the town dates from the middle of the 14^th century and already shows the roe. The small mountain appeared in the 17^th century. The colours are known since 1562. All later seals and images have shown the roe, although in the 19^th century the animal often resembled other species of deer. The meaning or origin of the animal is not known.
