In einem von Silber zu Grün gespaltenen Schild vorn einen aufgerichteten schwarzen Wolf mit ausgeschlagener roter Zunge und roten Augen, hinten ein goldener Dreiberg, überhöht von einer goldenen Bischofmütze.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 11, 1970.

The arms are canting: the Wolf and the Berg symbolize the name of the municipality. The mitre represents the patron saint of Wolfsberg, St. Dionysius (St. Denis).
