Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 1, 1974.

The silver steps are taken from the old arms of Pfrungen, the crown from the older arms of Wilhelmsdorf and refer to King Wilhelm I of Württemberg after whom the village was named. The castle is taken from the old arms of Esenhausen.
