Wappen von Westgreussen/Arms (crest) of Westgreussen
Official blazon
German

In Gold auf braunem Hügel drei stilisierte silberne Lilien mit grünen Stengeln und Blättern.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms are derived from the seals of the village used until 1950. The meaning or origin of the three lilies is not known. It has been suggested that these are derived from the arms of the Von Salfeld family, who lived in the village around 1500 and who used three lilies in their arms.
