Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 10, 1977.
The three crosiers symbolise the former Benedictan Convent in Liesborn, which had many possessions in the municipality. The crosiers also symbolise the three villages in the municipality. The lower half shows a rose, taken from the seal of the local church from 1538.
