Heraldry of the World Civic heraldry of Germany - Deutsche Wappen (Gemeindewappen/Kreiswappen) |
WÜSTEN
State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Lippe (1972-1990 Detmold, until 1972 Lemgo)
Incorporated into : 1969 Bad Salzuflen
Official blazon
In blau über silbernem, mit der roten lippischen Rose belegeten Schildfuß, einen golden bewurzelten Eichenstubben, der neue Blätter und Früchte trägt.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 16, 1961.
Besides the presence of the rose of Lippe, I do not know the meaning of these arms.
