Spanish Escudo partido y mantelado. 1) de gules un castillo de oro como símbolo de pertenecer a Castilla en la antigüedad y actualmente a Castilla y León. 2) de sinople un pino plateado, símbolo del predominio de los pinares, primera riqueza del pueblo y principal fuente de ingresos. Entado, de azur un cardo plateado, por el antiguo apellido del pueblo (Cardosa), que fue perdido a causa de enfrentamientos mantenidos con el pueblo vecino de Gumiel de Izán, al que perteneció como aldea hasta el primer tercio del siglo XIX. Al timbre la corona real de España.
