Escut caironat: d'atzur, un castell d'argent tancat de sable sobremuntat de 2 banderes faixades d'or i de gules amb les astes d'or passades en sautor. Per timbre, una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms show the castle of Quermençó, inside the municipality, and two crossed flags charged with the arms of Empúries (barry Or and Gules), because the village belonged to this county. These arms have been officially granted on 26th October 1992.
