Vichten historically was part of the Estate of Useldange. The oldest Lords of Useldange used arms with10 silver and red bars. Useldange (and the other possessions) were inherited by the Dukes of Baden in 1492 who held the Estate until 1709. The arms of Baden are shown as a pale in the arms.
