Portuguese Escudo de vermelho com um galeão de negro, aparelhado do mesmo e ornado de ouro, vestido de prata, tendo no pano redondo do mastro real, as quinas de Portugal antigo e vogando num mar ondeado de prata e de verde. Âncora de ouro. Em chefe, cosido de azul, um castelo de ouro, aberto e iluminado de negro. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com a legenda de negro: " CIDADE DE VIANA DO CASTELO ".
