Écartelé: au 1er de sinople à la roue d'engrenage d'or, au 2e d'or au pin de sinople fûté de sable, au 3e d'or à trois collines de sinople, celle de dextre sommée d'un télégraphe de Chappe d'or essoré de sable, posées sur un champ d'or labouré de sable, au 4e de sinople à deux épis de blé feuillés d'or et à la perdrix en ombre du même rangés en barre; le tout posé sur une terrasse d'or chargée d'une foi alésée de carnation parée d'argent et tenant la queue d'une couleuvre de sable brochant en pal sur le tout.
Origin/meaning
The first quarter refers to the industry in the municipality, the second to the local forests. The thirs shows the Montaubert and Braseux hills with the historical telegraph sign on these hills. The fourth refers to the richness of the fields in the municipality. The base shows the strength of the municipality. The snake is taken from the arms of the kernazet family, former lords of the village.
