Origin/meaning

The first quarter refers to the industry in the municipality, the second to the local forests. The third shows the Montaubert and Braseux hills with the historical telegraph sign on these hills. The fourth refers to the richness of the fields in the municipality. The base shows the strength of the municipality. The snake is taken from the arms of the Kernazet family, former lords of the village.
