The two red hills on the division line are the so-called Jelling hills. They already appeared on the medieval seal of Tørril county. The hills itself are famous graves of the first Danish Kings and date from the 10th century. The two axes also symbolise the two kings buried at Jelling : Gorm the Old and his wife Queen Thyra.
