Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 2, 1927 and again on March 29, 1995.

The arms are canting, Valdagno means Valley of the Lamb (Valle dell'agnello). Whether this is the true meaning of the arms is debatable. In any case, the arms as such have been used since medieval times. The branches flanking the shield have not always been used, and many variations thereof exist.
