Origin/meaning
The arms were registered on January 27, 1997.
The arms are canting as the name "Valašské Klobouky" means Valachian hats and thus a typical Valachian hat is used as the charge. The hat was already present on the 17th century seal of the town.
The seal from the 17th century (from Dřímal and Štarha, 1979) |
