Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 28, 1989.

The symbol is a wheel - the background that in the region there was a lot of wooden wheelmakers and wagonmakers living during the 19^th century. That was the start for furniture factories and more modern production. The official slogan of the community is "Vaggeryd the community where the wheels always are rolling".
