n gespaltenem Schild vorne in Gold (Gelb) ein roter Schrägbalken, hinten in Blau ein steigender goldener (gelber) Krebs neben einem pfahlweis gestellten (silbernen) weißen Pflugmesser.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1907 and show in the right half the red bend of Baden, as the village became part of Baden in 1415. The left half shows a lobster and a plough iron. The latter is most likely a symbol of agriculture, the meaning of the lobster is not known. It has been speculated that lobsters were quite common in the many streams and brooks in the area, and thus the lobster was taken as a symbol for fishing.
The arms are already seen on the oldest known seal of the council, known from 1741. The colours were determined in 1907.
