Tunaberg kommunvapen

Official blason

Sköld, delad av guld, vari två korslagda svarta kanoner, och av svart, vari ett avslitet örnhuvud av guld med röd beväring.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 9, 1953.

The cannon have been taken from the logo of the Nävekvarn quarry, which also featured two cannon. The lower half is taken from the arms of the De Besche family, who played a major role in the development of the local mines.
