Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 6, 1974.

The right half shows the arms of the Sünzl zu Söldenau family, who acquired the Weideneck castle in 1601, and who played a major role in the local history for a long period. The three trees and the mountain in the left half symbolise the three former municipalities.
