Administrative division

Suriname is divided into ten districts :

  • Brokopondo
  • Commewijne
  • Coronie
  • Marowijne
  • Nickerie
  • Para
  • Paramaribo
  • Saramacca
  • Sipaliwini
  • Wanica

These districts are further subdivided into 62 resorts (ressorten).

None of these do, as far as I know, use arms, neither do the individual cities.
