Sköld genom en fjällskura delad av guld, vari två uppskjutande från varandra vända yxor med svarta huvuden och röda skaft, och av svart.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 4, 1951.
The axes are taken from the seal of the former Snevringe hundred, known since 1571. The base refers to a medieval fortress in the municipality.
