I rødt tre gull valmuer stilt i trepass.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 9, 1990.

The arms show three flowers of a local poppy species (Papaver laestadianum), which symbolise that the municipality is on the border of Norway, Sweden and Finland.
