Official blazon

In Rot eine stilisierte silberne Linde, belegt mit einem blauen Herzschild, darin zwei goldene abwechselnd gezinnte Querbalken.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 8, 1995.

The linden tree refers to a tree in the village, which has been there for at leats 500 years. The linden stands close to the former castle of the Counts of Starkenberg, whose arms are shown as an escutheon.
