SOLYMÁR

Province (county) : Pest

Arms (crest) of Solymár
Official blazon
Hungarian blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show King Matthias (1458-1490, born in 1440) holding hawks; he enjoyed hunting in the surrounding forests of Buda that now belong to the village of Solymar.
