- (nl) In lazuur een Sint_Egidius, abt, van goud.
- (fr) D'azur à un Saint Egide, abbé d'or.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 22, 1858.
The arms show St. Giles, the local patron saint. The saint already appeared on the local seal from 1229.
