German In Gold ein aufrechter schwarzer Schwalbenschwanz, darüber ein sechsstrahliger roter Stern.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show a swallow's tail as a canting element (Schwalbe=swallow). The symbol already appeared on the borderstones in 1725 and a bit later in the local seals. The star was added in 1804. The arms were finally officially granted in 1953.
