Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 10, 1927.

The bull refers to the cattle breeding and former cattle market in Schruns. The sun above the mountains refer to the importance of tourism for the area. The two keys are the symbol of the Montafon valley in which Schruns is situated.
