District (Kreis) : Donau-Ries (until 1973 Donauwörth)
Incorporated into : 1972 Heroldingen (1978 Harburg)
German |
Gespalten; vorne in Rot ein goldener Schragen, hinten in Silber ein blauer Keramikkrug mit Deckel. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The saltire is taken from the arms of the Counts of Oettingen, to which the area historically belonged. The jar is taken as a symbol for the former porcelain factory which existed in the village from 1737-1846.
