Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ??-??-????

The two trees are juniper trees, a common tree in the area in the 19th century. The spade symbolises the first settlers in the region (18th century), who started to develop the sandy soils. The hat represents the power of the Prussian State at the time, which made it possible for the settlers to start a new life in the area.
