Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in October 1997.

The oak tree refers to the forests in the area, especially the Mühlenbecker Forst. The crown and the spindles refer to the fact that in 1753 King Frederick II of Prussia founded the village for 100 weaver and spinner families.
