Wappen von/Blason de Schänis

The arms in the Kaffee Hag albums 1914-1960

The village Schänis also uses village arms;

Wappen von Schänis/Coat of arms (crest) of Schänis

In the village arms were adopted in the late 1990s and are based on the arms of the municipality, with in the lower half a ring instead of a crown. The ring refers to the local Marchzinsen (a kind of interest).
