Tiercé en pairle: au 1er d'argent à la croisette pattée au pied fiché de gueules, au 2e d'azur à la fasce d'or surmontée de deux roses d'argent et soutenue d'un croissant du même, au 3e coupé au I d'or chargé de deux roses de gueules feuillées de sinople, au II d'azur au vol d'argent et à l'épée haute du même, garnie d'or, brochante et accostée en chef de deux étoiles d'or.
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on September 24, 1982.
The arms show in the chief the cross of the Knights Templar, who received the area in 1149.
The lower half shows the arms of two families who had their estates in the area; the arms of Jean-Jacques Mithon and the arms of the bernadotte family.
