Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on December 17, 1992.
The arms show the local aquaduct, one of th eoldest in the Lisbon region, 4 km long and used for the fountains in the local palaces. The lower half shows garden plots and is a symbol for the local agriculture. The bordure is taken from the arms of Loures city. Literature : image send by Sergio Horta
