Escudo de púrpura, arado e martelo de prata, o primeiro volvido e o segundo posto em faixa e uma bigorna de ouro, tudo bem ordenado; em chefe, torre de ouro, aberta e iluminada de vermelho e gradeada de negro. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ SANTA BÁRBARA - ANGRA DO HEROÍSMO “.
