SABANA GRANDE

Arms of Sabana Grande

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms contain elements of the patron saints of the village. The first and fourth quarter show the symbols of St. Isidoro Labrador. The jug is the symbol of the St. Mary de la Cabeza. The escutcheon shows a typical species of palm, a symbol for the local tradition in which the palm tree is used for many purposes.
