RUGGELL

Ruggell.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 16, 1956.

The colours blue and red are the national colours of the Principality of Liechtenstein. The golden ear of corn symbolises the victorious struggle of the peasants with the primeval forces of the Rhine, which now flows submissively past the village of Ruggell between its embankments.
