ROT AN DER ROT

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Biberach
Additions : 1975 Ellwangen, Haslach, Spindelwag

Wappen von Template:PAGENNAME

Official blazon

In Rot ein aufgerichteter silberner Greif, in den Vorderpranken ein gleicharmiges silbernes Kreuz mit Tatzenenden haltend.

Origin/meaning

The arms were first granted on ?? and again on June 24, 1977.

The arms show a griffin holding a cross; both elements have been taken from the arms of the former Premonstratensian Abeey of Rot an der Rot, which owned most of the territory in the municipality.
