Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro em maiúsculas : “ ROMEIRA – SANTARÉM “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 22, 1996.
The wavy cross and the olive branches show the importance of the olive groves for the parish. The cross symbolises the buzzing of the branches in the wind.
The wheat ear symbolises that wheat is the second most important crop in the parish. The cross is taken from an ancient decoration on the local church.
