RENNESØY

Province : Rogaland
Additions : 1965 Mosterøy

Arms of Rennesøy

Official blazon

I blått to oppveksande adosserte sølv krumstavar.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 20, 1981.

The arms show two crosiers. In the present municipality one of Norway's oldest and best preserved monasteries, Utstein, is situated. Hence the choice for the crosier.
