Wappen von Rangendingen/Arms (crest) of Rangendingen
Official blazon
German In Gold ein aufgerichteter schwarzer Bär, der in den Vorderpranken einen Ast mit drei nach rechts gerichteten grünen Lindenblättern hält.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 9, 1970.

The bear is the symbol of the local patron saint, St. Gallus. The linden leaves symbolises the medieval Lords of Rangendingen, of the Lindach family. The branch is red, a colour derived from the arms of the Hohenberg Estate, to which the village belonged for many centuries. The golden shield symbolises agriculture.
