Sköld delad av guld, vari två blå laxar över varandra med röd beväring (därest dylik skall komma till användning), och blått, vari två spetsar av guld.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 19, 1945.
The two salmon are taken from the local parish seal from 1769 and indicate the (former) importance of salmon fishing for the area. The two points in the base refer to the local hills.
