Origin/meaning
The old German name for Radovljica was first Radmansdorf and later Radmanstadt. The name can be 'read' on the coat of arms: Rad-Mann-Dorf or Rad-Mann-Stadt (Wheel-Man-Village or Wheel-Man-Town).
