Arms of Ręczno

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on July 3, 2009.

The arms refer to the legend of the local patron saint St. Stanislaus of Szczepanów. The mitre refers to him as a bishop of Krakow, the four eagle heads to the eagles that guarded the pit when his dismembered body reassembled itself after he was murdered and his body parts were thrown into a pit.
