In geteiltem Schild oben in Gold ein wachsender, doppelgeschwänzter roter Löwe, unten in Silber auf grünem Dreiberg ein grüner Apfelbaum mit roten Früchten und schwarzem Stamm.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1907.

The lion is derived from the arms of the Lords of Rötteln. The apple trees are a symbol for the growing of apples, one of the main sources of income at the time.
