RÖNS

State : Vorarlberg
District : Feldkirch

Wappen von Röns

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 9, 1969.

The grapes and vine refer to the formerly very important viticulture in the municipality. The crosier refers to St. Magnus, the local patron saint. The famouos crosier of St. Magnus is kept in the Füssen Abbey and was in the 18th century transported temporarily to Röns to ward off pestilence.
