Rönö kommunvapen

Official blason

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 17, 1954.

The arms show a canting rowan (rönn) tree, which was also part of the seal of the former Rönö hundred. The shield has been divided to mark the difference between the municipality and the hundred. The six bunches of berries symbolise the six parishes that made up the new Rönö rural municipality in 1952.
