Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 7, 1998.

The upper half shows the castle of Castille and a wheatear and sickle for the agricultural character of the village. The lower half shows four towers, representing the four hamlets in the municipality, Quintanaélez, Soto de Bureba, Marcillo and Quintanilla Cabe Soto. The pillar is a monument for the artistic value of the villages.
