Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 11, 2008.

The boar's head in the first quarter is taken from the arms of the Von Qualen family, from the 12th cantury onwards for many centuries rulers of the village.

The second and third quarter refer to the agricultural character of the village.

The fourth quarter shows a canting spring (Quelle=spring).
